GREAT QUALITY! GREAT SIZE! GREAT PRODUCT!The brush is MUCH better quality than I had expected, what a pleasant surprise! You really can't beat the price for a brush this nice. I have purchased brushes in this price range before and they always ended up being just as cheap as they looked! The bristles would flatten after 1-2 uses, they would slip from your hand, your hand would cramp up because they were awkwardly small, etc. This brush looks as though it will definitely last for years! It is larger than I thought it would be which is great! You can comfortably grip it in your palm and apply the necessary scrubbing pressure without ever having your hand cramp up at all. It is a very solid product too. Just by the feel of it you can tell it will be extremely durable over the years and through many many uses. The bristles are quite coarse so it really will only be great for scrubbing harder vegetables, but, since the the most commonly cleaned vegetables are the tough skinned hard varieties that are grown in the ground you will be able to use it for a huge variety. The no-slip grip handle is wonderful! I can use this while my hand (and brush) are completely submersed in water and it doesn't slip a bit, even with vigorous scrubbing. All in all, WONDERFUL PURCHASE! I would very highly recommend this product to anyone in the market for a vegetable scrub brush!

Wonderfully sharp knife especially for the priceOver years and years of struggling to prepare vegetables with dull knives, first in my own and continually in others' kitchens, we've become somewhat eccentric about kitchen knives - collecting them, giving them away, even taking them with me (as if I were a pro chef) when I cook elsewhere.
These Victorinox knives are a delight - so sharp they're more useful than our expensive knives, and the price has meant we can have enough we can both cut and chop at the same time, plus we can give them to everyone in the family, and know that we don't have to carry our own knife with us when we go to their houses!

Strudy, Sharp, GreatYup, this is a great peeler. The handle is sturdy and feels good in the hand. The "grips" help avoid slippage with your wet, kitchen hands. Swivel action helps when peeling uneven surfaces (think potatoes). The guard over the top of the blade aids in gripping and safety.
The peeler I had before this was some cheap little thing I got at the grocery store. It's definitely worth a few extra bucks to get a real peeler. Especially if you love sweet potato mash as much as I do!

IT really worksIT takes a little while to get used to it and you have to anchor it solid on the table. This product is well made and my old one went through many years of continuous use and performed beautifully. It is so easy to use that all 6 of the grandchildren use it with perfect results. The trick is using firm apples. I've never used it to peel potatoes, but if i did i would choose very smooth medium size realizing there would be areas to trim out with a paring knife due to the nature of a potato, which may not be worth the time. I love this product and will replace this one in maybe 4 years without hesitating. This is my second purchase of this product. I used mine for about 2 years. I like to soak them in apple juice and they stay beautiful and taste wonderful even the next day or two. I like to give these as gifts. This apple peeler makes peeling, coring and slicing apples so easy and fast. It works well only with firm apples of medium size. I choose the ones that are symmetric as the core will be removed perfectly. I also use the apple slices in my dehydrator and the slices are perfect for that.

Get your kids to eat an apple a day!Really delighted that I ordered this product. I originally thought that it would be great for our weekly apple pie, which it is. Little did I know what a novelty it is to my 5 and 3 year olds. They'll bring me apples just to be able to use this gadget and then they'll eat them because the apples look like bouncy springs. Great for lunchboxes, too. Easy to use once you get the hang of it after a couple of tries. Works well on potatoes, too, as you can make those fun curly fries. Just a neat thing to have in the kitchen, especially for a household with kids.
