Terrible!

We planted 3 tomato plants and got 4 cherry tomatos from one of them. The planter itself completely disintergrated before the season was through. I won't even bother to plant the strawberries in the "free" hanging planter. This was a horrible investment. Also it needs to be watered very often. Certainly didn't work for us as advertised.

Over watering can be its own problem

Had a huge problem last year with racoons pulling up new plants to get at slugs and worms in my garden. I swallowed the financial pill to deploy the Contech Scarecrow, and it did the trick for a while, but the racoons started to get even more clever about how they approached their target plants, they didn't seem to mind the soaking, and that part of my yard turned into a serious bog over the span of a week. This didn't make the plants too happy either!

Finally gave up on the sprinkler and installed a FidoShock electric fence and have never had a problem since . . .

Disappointed with EasyBloom sensor!!

The sensor is not water proof so it is not suitable for unattended data collection outdoors. Also the sensor has to connect to the Internet to change set mode, download data, change mode which means I can not buy the additional sensors and collect data outside which makes it worthless to me. I am very disappointed there is no software I can use on my netbook or PDA. If the company goes out of business, the sensor is useless!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a nice large mat that I can easily fit 4 flats on, my seeds are popping up like wild and I got a thermostat for it that works like a charm (even though they aren't the same company). Love it!

Lawn and Garden Cleanup

Love My Magna Cart

I'm a photographer and use this cart to haul all my gear when I'm traveling. It holds my camera case very nicely and securely with a bungee cord. I've rolled this cart all around town, on broken sidewalks, dirt, cobblestones, etc. and it has kept my gear safe and secure. The handle locks at a couple of different heights and is very convenient for pulling along crowded city streets. When it's time to pack up and head home, the cart folds up easily and takes up very little room in the trunk of my car. I definitely recommend this cart.

Good for $6 gloves

That's about it. Six bucks for heavy duty work gloves; one shouldn't expect too much for that price. However. they seem to hold up OK with light use. The fabric seems tend to fray and rip. I've blown through much more expensive heavy duty gloves. These are not bad for the price.

Great Starter Grow Light

This is a nice table-top device for limited amounts of indoor growing. Has a single T5 light source, but this is a great and inexpensive way to begin indoor cultivation. Later you might like to graduate to larger set ups that will have 2 or more shelves and multiple lights for starting larger numbers of seedlings.
