Definitely Worth the PurchaseGreat purchase at a reduced price. I previously priced this product at over $119 retail price, and then at $100 after receiving a HVAC Technician's discount before finding it on Amazon for $85.
A programmable thermostat is great for homes when it is necessary for your A/C system to run while you're not home or asleep. Personally I have a pet, so I need for my home to remain cool while I'm at work or else I would just turn the system off until I come home. This product is great because I can set the temperature at a reasonable level without it constantly running, skyrocketing my electric bill, and having the house nice and cool right before I return home from work. The touch screen is a nice "touch", which lights up appropriately, even in the dark. The programming features allow you to set the temperature for several hours of the day and even raise or lower the temperature when you sleep, for everyday of the week.
Installation is not difficult, although it is very important to note and document the location of all wires on your old t-stat before removing them, so you can place them correspondingly on the new one. It is also important to know what type of system you have (heat pump, "straight cool", gas furnace, 1 stage, 2 stage...etc.) so you can program the t-stat to work with your system. Even as a HVAC Technician, I forgot to program the Honeywell to work with my heat pump system, so if you decide to do it yourself, remember that little piece of advice to save you some confusion as to why your system is running in heat instead of air conditioning.
If you are on the fence, I would encourage you to give it a try!
NOTE: If you decide installing the thermostat is too difficult for you, I would suggest NOT calling a A/C company unless you want to pay an exaggerated price because you did not buy it from them. For this type of thermostat companies may charge up to $400 or more for purchase and installation. Try talking to an individual A/C Technician that you feel comfortable with and explaining your problem and see if he or she would be interested in installing it on their own time, since it only takes about fifteen minutes to install. You would definitely come out spending less money working with an individual technician opposed to the A/C company itself should you require the assistance.

Full of unneeded features but lacking in usefull features:My new Trane came with one of these, only the Trane name was stuck to it. The installation engineers removed my Hunter Programmable Thermostat and installed this. I live in Florida so AC is a necessity. On the first three days I observed that this thermostat was causing my new Heat Pump to start and stop every 5 minutes. Now I know something about motors and relays, and it is this, life expectancy of them is directly proportional to the number of times they are commanded to start and stop. Also, I know a little about airconditioning, and it is this, they become most efficient only after running at least 10 minutes. After an investigation using an instataneous thermometer (I'am and engineer by trade) I found that the Honeywell thermostat was attempting to hold the temperature to within + or - .25 degrees. Now that is rediculous. Just the air passing the thermostat when the AC starts running will cause the temperature to drop that much. Continueing my investigation, I found that, by design, none of the Honeywell thermostats give the customer control of what is called "temperature span" or "temperature differential". "Temperature span" or "temperature differential" is the temperature difference between when the ac or heat is told to turn "on" and when it is commanded to turn "Off". (My old system using the Hunter thermostat had a built in span of +/- 1.1 degree and would start and stop no more than 10 times during the entire day. By my calculations, my new system using the Honeywell thermostat will average starting and stopping about 100 times per day. Now that is a big difference and totally unacceptable.) Continueing my investigation further, I found that none of the Honeywell thermostats offer temperature differential adjustments. In fact, the only brand that seems to offer this adjustment on all of their thermostats is the Robertshaw brand. I found that some of the Hunter models offer it, for example, their model 44760 has it. How did I fix the problem? I removed the Honeywell thermostat and threw it in the garbage and reinstalled my old Hunter. Now my AC, once it starts, stays on at least 20 minutes, not the 5 as was the case with the Honeywell, and cycles an average of 10 times per day, not the 100 times as was the case with the Honeywell thermostat.
I have this to say to Honeywell if they are listening. Spend less time on frivolous customer options like "Vacation Hold" and more on options that matter, like adjustable "temperature differential". At least widen the span from its present .2 degrees to no less than +/- .8 degrees. The cat is out of the bag and your thermostats should all be "RECALLED".

Not so good for lightI bought this item partly to block the light that comes in under the front door of my apartment from the hallway outside. Unfortunately while it does a good job of blocking the draft and does cut out some light, it is not entirely opaque so a lot of light still comes through. Colors other than white would probably do better.

Good density but too expensive when shipping is added on.This is the best density stripping I found. I actually use it on the indoor doors. I use to help reduce noise coming from my room and also to reduce the banging caused when opening and shutting my door. I rent a room out and also put the stripping on the roommates bedroom and bathroom door. Roommate had a habit of going in and out of room and bathroom opening and closing doors repeatedly. With the stripping added, it cushions the noise and also was a easy way of telling roommate to cut down on all of the door opening/closing :)
Biggest issues is that a roll only does one door and the shipping costs make it expensive when you only buy small quantity. I have a home depot next door but they do not carry anything that was as dense as this.

It is the solution you'd expect, but pricey for what you getThis air deflector works as it should. It is easy to snap into place over your vent cover--you only need to pay attention that you position its magnets clear of the screws on the side of the vent cover to secure it into place.
I have two criticisms: One, for the cheapness of the material it should cost less than the $9.99 I paid for it. Two, it should have larger, stronger magnets. Neither of these factors make it unaffordable to me or less than functional, so it's a good, properly functioning product. Just not a 5-star one. Overall, I'm satisfied with this product.
