Seems ok, but how would we really know unless...Seems ok, but how would we really know unless we had a fire to test it on. So I'm giving it 4 stars for looks, price, and the fact that it comes with a full-empty gauge and mounting bracket.
5 stars if it's not empty when/if I need it, and successfully puts out the fire quickly.

problem solvedActually, three problems solved: 'hiding' keys at apartment and 'church', and doing so without breaking budget. Locking myself out of apartment (keys inside, no resident manager) is no longer a problem. Opening/closing 'church' now possible by sharing lock-code, rather than uncontrolled distribution of keys. That's two problems solved. The third problem was solving these two problems effectively and inexpensively. Ability to choose/change the combination provides potentially valuable increased access control option.
So-called latch-key kids might appreciate this product in lieu of the 'key-on-a-string' approach.
