Master lock made in ChinaI have been using countless Master combo locks for many years and just got a new one. The lock looks OK, however, I am concerned that it is now produced in China - which is written on its packaging. Unfortunately, Amazon had no word on the country of origin. Master locks I purchased before were produced in the USA. Just think about extra fuel and packaging used to bring this lock here from the other side of the world. I know that some companies still produce same kind of locks in the USA. If you want to make purchasing decisions with environmental considerations like myself, consider a lock from a company, which produces it in the USA. I guess, no more master locks for me.

It does just what I expectThis is a strong, well made clamp that does just what I expect. The knurled adjustment screw isn't the kindest on the fingers, but it works as it should.
The clamp with a light film on it. Probably some sort of oil to prevent rusting. I've used this clamp now for a number of different projects and it has been perfect every time.
If you are planning on doing pocket joinery with the Kreg system, don't wait until you are in the middle of the project before you buy this clamp. Buy it at the same time you get your system. You won't regret it.
