Trust me, I know Flashlights..

I work as a armed security officer for a goverment contractor where a good sidearm, good radio and good flashlight are the most important equipment we have. This is one of the best flashlights (for the money) I have seen in a while. Very very bright and can light up an object at 150 yards or more! A Sgt. where I work picked one up at Lowes and when I saw what it could do I searched the local chain hardware stores but could not find one. Then I discovered Amazon.com! I bought one for myself and one of my officers and I will buy more for birthday and christmas gifts in the future.

A fix at last



As a homeowner who does most maintenance work myself, I've been a fan of B & D tools for a long time: basic, solid, dependable. That changed with this drill.

The original charger was worthless; I resent having to buy an aftermarket product just to make my original investment worthwhile. In a nutshell, that's what this charger does; it works, and I'll use it until the two batteries I bought no longer hold a charge.

Score a point for B & D, which got my money again. Now subtract ten for losing a loyal customer. My new circular saw is another brand, as I expect most of power tools will be in the future.

Good price and easy to install

Good price for this product.

It replaces an older unit from a different company that had died and refused to stop beeping regardless of the battery that was put in it.

I assume that if I do not die in my sleep from smoke inhalation or carbon monoxide poisoning, the unit works as it should.

If I do die in my sleep because it failed, I'll figure out how to update this review from the great beyond. Wish me luck!

Half functional

Received this as a stocking stuffer, nice I know, and only the red light works on this flashlight. Funny thing is I really found myself stuck in the dark needing a flashlight, opened it from its packaging only to discover that clicking on the rubber covered white light button didn't do anything. I swapped out batteries, nothing. Only the red light works. Hopefully I can return it.
