it has everythingI bought this when I moved to SF and can truly say that I feel safer now. (I know that if a huge earthquake hit, my building would probably fall on top of my head, but that's not what this kit is for) This kit is great in times when you need the basic living essentials because of a natural disaster or even being stuck in the woods. I would also buy one for my car (if I used one). This thing has everything in it including water and food and the best part... THE BAG. It fits everything neatly contained within their own compartments in a moderately strong nylon backpack. Great for the grab and go. It also had room in it to store a few extra things so I put in a red cross handcrank radio/cell phone charger and that SAS survival handbook (because if your actually going to get stuck in the woods you have to know what to do).
It's so great I bought two, one for me and one for my dad in hawaii.*
*A note to shipping across water: they have to ship it non-air because of the lighter fluid in the lighter and candle... it took a long long time to get there, but don't worry it got there no problems.
Overall great kit.

Corrected copy..I bought this bulb to use as a décor light so it was perfect except for a couple of flaws that made it useless to me. We were impressed at the light output. It will not light the room but for atmosphere, it is perfect. In fact we had to dim it!
pros:
~Good brightness for an led
~Lots of colors and options
Cons:
~Only 4 colors dim, not all of them.
~Remote has to be pointed at light to use. This is hard if it's in the ceiling or floor. You have to walk around the room and turn each on.
~If you have several, they all change when you hit the remote. If one misses, they are no longer in the same mode.
Can't put it on a switch....comes back on in disco/flash mode. You need to walk around with the remote and point it directly at the light. Standby mode uses power!
If your power is interrupted or goes out, it turns on and you will not know it's using power.
Overall, this bulb is a good idea with some major flaws. I bought it for a mood light to save power but several times I have come down at night to find it turned on, using my power. So much for saving power with a LED. I would prefer to put it on a wall switch to remedy that issue and not use standby power but the light doesn't remember the last mode it was in. It might be an ok party light for an occasion, now and then. Using it in a permanent application it is not a good idea.
I also contacted the seller (Eagle Light) about the problems. They called me back after several days. It turns out that they are aware of the issues and are in the process of creating a light with power off memory but it will be a while till it is done. I also wrote a review on his site and rated it 2 stars since I felt it was rated 4.5 stars with what I consider defects. It was "submitted for review" and never made it on so I believe his rating might be skewed (either that or it was so poorly written that it didn't make sense.)

Carefully vettedI've been studying this technology, and there appear to be too many choices in how to test for radon in homes. This one was their preferred choice, as a 90-day test, such as this one, is more accurate than a quick test. This particular product got their best rating. The other product is called RTCA 4-Pass Charcoal Cannister, which is a 2-7 day test. Oddly, Amazon does not carry that item. CR says that one sells for about $20. (Please note that I have not actually used this product yet. I'm merely sharing the results of credible research. It took me awhile to sort through the verbiage on this issue.
