Not ideal to use for dog ear hair removal

I ordered this to take out hair from my dog's ears. But because the handle has to "lock" into place, my dog freaked out everytime I got near her hair. Ultimately, it was just easier to use my fingers and R-7 Ear Powder 12 GM. I'm sure these will come in handy for some other purpose... and I'll be ready.

The battery seems to be as good as it gets today. Battery technology needs improving. The battery last about one year. That seems adequate.

I bought two, one of which quit in two days. The hassle of packaging, returning, and paying for postage is more than what I bought it for. So I figure the price of two for getting one working one is ok, but not a great deal. I will not buy these online again.

About to buy another one

Very satisfied! Yes, you do have to be a bit careful about the threads during assembly. But that is probably true of any similar light system, including some that cost four times more and work not as well. The brightness, the dimmer, and the clean, unpretentious aesthetics of the light, all exceeded my expectations.

Will not stop chirping!!


Had this for two weeks and it started chirping due to a low battery. Replaced the battery several times and it did not resolve the issue. The new battery measured 9.02V while installed in the unit, yet it still wouldn't shut up.

Apparently it drains the battery even when plugged into the wall! What kind of moronic electrical engineer designed this thing!?

pretty light duty

these are much lighter and lite duty than I expected. Probably good for handing out to a volunteer group doing painting or scraping, but I would use something a bit more solid, like the Milwaukee glasses for anything more serious. e.g nailing, portable power tools

Great Shower filter

This is my second shower filter that I have purchased. It however is the first culligan shower filter that I have used and I wouldn't purchase another brand. The filter was very easy to install. Once the filter was installed I noticed right away that the chlorine smell and fell was gone. I have pretty strong chlorine in our little towns water system.
I will be purchasing a shower fillter for my guest bath now and replacement fillters for the both of them.

Don't waste your money on this

The heating unit failed after 3 months - trips my GFI when it's plugged in. I had the same experience with "warranty" coverage as others mentioned - you need to call their service person, and if they determine that it is not due to a manufacturing defect, you're on the hook for at least $115 for the service call. I installed it myself and do not need to pay someone more than I spent for the unit to replace it for me for "free".
