I bought the Dremel diamond blade with EZ Mandrel and this set was listed as something others had looked at. For the price I ordered the set as well.

Flowers did not grow and poor customer support

So I got this as a gift for my dad and the first one came DOA (the air pump did not work) once I got the second one I followed all of the instructions on the kit and yes, the flower started to grow, but as time passed it started to rot and eventually all of them died

This gadget is great, makes it very easy to
see where the power goes. I found this device
useful for:

1. Verify my house baseload is negligible. I had
been wondering if some appliance were sucking
power all the time, but nothing is.

2. Demonstrate the benefit of CFLs. We have several
banks of lights on dimmers which I never replaced
with CFLs. But those banks suck about 400 watts
each and these are lights that are on a lot. It
would be worth getting rid of the dimmers and
putting in CFLs.

3. Activity pattern in house matters most. Since we
had a baby our day starts earlier, lights are on
more, and we run the laundry (electric dryer) more.
This is what caused our electricity bill to jump
this winter compared to last.

I have this thing sitting on my desk, and while I'm
working alone the house uses about 300 watts. When
the other family members come home, lights and tv
come on, the usage jumps to 1700 watts on average.

generic diamond point bits for the dremel rotary tool

These generic diamond point bits work great on my dremel rotary tool and the price for 20 of them is cheaper than buying 1 bit of the dremel brand. I use them for engraving on glass and they have been great.

love/hate relationship, I need a new lover . . .

I love my Fein Multimaster. I hate being ripped off for blades. I have used almost all of the blades for my Fein, love how they work. I hate the rip-off prices for the blades. I'm hoping someone will get some aftermarket blades of all types available soon.
Interesting application--I repaired old brick foundation that had very thin, rotten mortar. I used a worn out wood blade between the bricks, the old mortar just fell out. Totally ruined the blade, but I sailed through the mortar like butter and most of the debris fell out, so clean up was a couple of quick blasts of air and I was ready to tuckpoint.
I would recomend the tool a lot quicker if the blades were reasonable, but tool not a good choice because of operating cost.
