Best trap - PERIODI am *extremely* squeamish - and would prefer to use a humane trap (no kill) - but really - what am I going to do with a live mouse anyway? I have never really had to deal with this until becoming a homeowner, and having my backyard re-landscaped. I don't know if that drove mice into the house or what - but I had a bunch of mice to deal with, and two small children to think about. I tried a bunch of different traps.. I was traumatized by the glue (I had a baby mouse alive and squeaking, stuck on the glue sheet! Didn't know what to do! Had to leave the house with my kids, and call my husband to deal with it -- not pretty). I tried poison (mouse died under my dishwasher, not at all convenient to remove). This trap -- at least it's a QUICK KILL - with no squeaking mouse stuck in a trap. Also, I LOVE that it is covered - I can't handle the gore. I just see a little tail sticking out - and I don't look inside - I simply eject it straight into my outside garbage - done. Plus, this trap really works. Read more...

The fan that could notWell i went in thinking this fan would be good for what i needed. I read others have clicking noises when it turns which mine does. I read someone had it go slow then fast then die on them in a short time.
The problem with mine is a mixture of stuff which makes me not trust this brand again in the future. I read and did my homework and could deal with the turn clicking cause i was going to use it set to one position only to disable that clicking. The problem is mine keeps clicking in a set direction not moving. I push down the button to make it move then up again to stop. This stops the clicking for a little bit but i get woken up 30-60 mins later to redo the down and up to fix it. Then it happens again. It does not click when it moves but some nights it is so hot i need it stationary. This fan worked perfectly for 2 days then the problems started to come up. I also had the fan on day 5 go from fast to slow in stationary. This means the motor is junk like some other reviewer said. I would of rather spent my money on ice if i known this fan was so low quality. I do not care if it is lower power just wanted a working fan. This fan is super powerful but man they seemed to overcharge the fan and it overheats and damages the motor or something. It is like race cars how you can blow the engine. I always do research on buys i do online and the issues i had that bother me were not mentioned about the loud clicking when it stays stationary for a 30-60 mins after you use it for about 3-4 days of use. I wish i could break the thing so it can never move again and have to deal with the clicking.
This thing was a breeze putting it together so i am not sure what others had issues with it for.
Overall if you want a unstable cheap fan with huge power get this. There is a huge percentage this sucker will die on you in a short time. I recommend paying about the same and buy a not as powerful fan that is stable. I am listening to this fan go from super slow speed to super fast like the motor can not handle it. I am expecting a house fire while i am sleeping with this puppy. Read more...

Pleased, but could be betterI bought the Black and Decker NPT318 Cordless Pole Hedge Trimmer based on the reviews on Amazon. And I was pleasantly surprised. I have lots of tall bushes, so I needed an extended reach trimmer. My previous trimmer was the Remington Axcess trimmer with telescoping, tilting handle, AC powered. I finally stripped out the metal gear box trying to cut too large of branches, so time for a new one. Though I worked the Remington VERY hard for 3 years, I liked it, and it held up well (except for the plastic tilt release lever breaking off the first week), the Amazon reviews about it's plastic parts breaking were so bad that I thought maybe I got lucky and had received one of the few good ones. So I decided to look for a different trimmer.
First, I liked the fact that the B&D NPT318 was battery powered .... no more cords to cut and trip over! The battery life was excellent considering how hard this tool works (about an hour of start & stop trimming). And it does cut branches under 3/8" very well. The Remington cut up to 3/4", so the B&D is a compromise in this regard. It is light enough to give you good vertical reach without tiring you out. I even used it one-handed for some tall straight up stuff. But reaching out horizontally is a workout for the shoulder muscles! And the overall tool balance is not as nice as the Remington since the B&D pole does not telescope. This problem is compounded by the fact that the trigger switch cannot be locked in the "ON" position, so you must constantly hold the switch end of the tool, rather than locking the switch "ON" and grabbing the tool farther up the handle where it would be balanced. The B&D is easy to use if you are about 3 -4 feet from the bush, but it is difficult to use close in because you have to keep one hand way back behind you on the trigger. And, depending on your landscaping, or if you're on a ladder (yeah, I know but I don't own a cherry picker!), sometimes you just can't get far enough away from the bush. A telescoping handle would solve this problem! The easy-to-tilt power head helped somewhat in this situation. The motor end of the tool is light weight, so tilting the head does not cause balance problems. Lubricating the blades every hour or so with 30 weight motor oil reduces blade friction, extending the battery life and keeps the blades sharp. You'll also want an extra battery or two. The NPT318 comes with the standard 'cheapy' dumb charger that takes up to 9 hours to recharge a battery. I bought and recommend the B&D model BDFC240 smart charger ($30) which charges up 9.6V - 24V B&D batteries in under 2 hours.
Note to the B&D engineers: go with a 24V battery and increase the cut size to 5/8 or 3/4". Telescoping pole! "ON" lock for the trigger!
SUMMARY:

Cage cat trapThis Havart product worked as promised. The instructions could use improvement. Some of the details in the pictures illustrating how to assemble the trap are not very clear. Pay special attention to the bar that sets the trap. It may seem that it is to be inserted in the door hook, but it should not. It should just rest on it.
