Great Charger that works on all Black & Decker slide style batteries BATTERY MOD.I purchased this charger to charge (4) 18V B & D batteries. I soon found out what other have stated in their reviews, that two of the newer 18 volt batteries did not fit in the charger. These batteries came with a drill that had an integrated charger. Because of this, the battery has an extra set of prongs that will interfere with this charger. Here is the fix. I used a T10 bit to open the 18 volt battery pack. I located the extra prongs, and cut the wire off. I proceeded to remove the extra prongs, and used some tape to cover up the cut wire. You should use some electrical tape, but any insulating tape will work. I replaced the cover,and put the screws back on. Presto! The battery works normally, and can now be charged with this charger. The extra prong seems to be a way to charge the battery without an external charger. I personally never bothered to use the integrated charger in the drill, so removing this prong/option is no big deal for me. Keep this in mind if you plan on doing this mod.

An Industrial ProductThis is an industrial product that you can use to solve around the house problems. For me, my problem was that the sunscreen vanity mirror on my truck has a flap that's broken so when I put my visor down, the flap falls down - it looks bad. Apparently, it's a design flaw and if I order a new sunscreen, the mirror will simply break in a few months. Hmmm. So I bought theses magnets which I gluegunned to the vanity mirror to keep it shut - works like a charm for me and looks like a factory repair.
So I guess what I'm saying is that there are a myriad of industrial uses. Some have said they're great fridge magnets, and that they are but I recommend Magcraft NSN0573 3/8-Inch by 1/8-Inch Rare Earth Disc Magnets, 30-Count which are bigger.
Just note, these things are strong, not for the faint of heart, they stick.
NOTE TO PARENTS: These things are not toys and they're easy to ingest....and they are very damaging to the intestines if a child should ingest these (especially a few of them because they stick to one another). So, keep close control of these things.

DisappointedI ordered and received two Kidde kitchen fire extinguishers. One was empty upon arrival, as was indicated by the pressure dial pointer in the red. The devices have a plastic key which must be broken in order to use the extinguisher.
The plastic key was not broken: the tank was empty when it was packed and shipped.
I was required to pay shipping in order to return it. The deadline for a return is pretty tight. Being as I have to ship during the Christmas holiday rush, I doubt that I will meet the deadline. In shipping it, I was losing more money.
I will not do business with that company again. I wish that I was able to rate this purchase in negative numbers; one star is too generous.
Update: ANTOLINE contacted Amazon and credited my account with the value of the fire extinguisher that I had returned to them. Now I will give them 2 stars.

Already 2 years oldNot sure if this is a reflection of the product/manufacturer or Amazon's storage policy, but I received this 3 pack of smoke detectors today 23 Feb 2010 and I checked the manufactured date...23 Feb 2008. They are 2 years old on the day I received them. The instructions clearly state these products have a life of 10 years from date of manufacture. So, I am already 20% into that. I would expect 6 or 9 months, but 2 years? That blows. On some products, I would not worry too much about a ten year life, but this is something the life of my family could depend on.
Not impressed - I will be contacting Amazon for their thoughts...maybe I am being unreasonable.
Be warned, and check your date of manufacture when you receive this three pack.
