I love thisThis is my 2nd Earth Box and I love it. I have no green thumb what-so-ever but I have flourishing plants. The Florida summer heat is a little much for my plants right now but the box is working really well. Make sure you keep the water filled!

It works!Why am I even writting a review for this? It does what it has to do, works fine and it takes less than a minute to install.
For those of you who don't know what a splitter does, it basically splits one phone jack into two so instead of just plugging one phone, you get to plug in two! Or maybe a phone and a fax machine, a phone and a computer modem or a phone and a Sega Dreamcast! the possibilities are endless!
The release button feels a little cheap, it will probably break if you mess with it too much, but why would you? Other than that, everything is fine.
Just in case you were wondering, I use it to plug in the phone on one side and the DVR on the other, yeah I want to see who's calling me on the TV screen, that's all!

Perfect size, weight, and priceThis safe feels very durable. I didn't have any problem opening and closing it. I think the problem that other people had with opening it is because they didn't push down on the lid when they pull the latch. That is how you are supposed to do it, and it opens quite easily if you do that. That type of opening mechanism keeps my toddler out, too!
The lock seems kind of pointless. I don't think it would deter a thief, but I don't care about that - I just want the fire-resistant and waterproof features.
I was surprised how large it is when I received it. It perfectly holds 8.5 x 11 papers in it, but on the outside it is rather big. I don't mind the size, but other people might. Despite its size, it isn't too heavy, but it is heavy enough to keep my toddler from moving it around and playing with it.
Overall, it is a great product.

Travel locksHeavy compared to non TSA locks, don't seem particularly strong, but probably as strong as any little travel lock. Certainly stronger than zip ties, which we have been using. We use zip ties along with these locks so we know when the TSA has opened our bags as they have to cut the zip ties. We wouldn't check any bags without either one of these locks or zip ties on every zipper, especially when traveling internationally.

Need a hand?There are a lot of vise type camps you can get on the cheap and these DO NOT fall into that category but you get what you pay for and these are top notch! They quality is excellent! How ever these are only really useful with pocket joining as the one side is just a post that fits nicely into the hole made when doing pocket joints. It can be used with other things but the one side is only about 5/16" diameter so keep that in mind. With that said, when using them for pocket joining they are great at! Not only do they serve practically as a second set of hands but unlike other clams they attach exactly where you want them and hold exactly they way you want.
