Need two people to make it work properlyWe wanted to put in hardwood floors (tongue and groove kind) ourselves and we did not want to rent the expensive, noisy, and energy-intensive pnuematic pump etc. We also did not want the time pressure to have to do the job quickly to minimize rental costs.
So we bought this. This works fairly well and at times we made fast progress. But we needed two people - one person to hold the staple gun down so it does not move while the one person used the hammer.(I was the one to hammer. My shoulders are still somewhat sore after 2 weeks!).
It would have been better if the gun had long pedals on both sides to hold it down and stabilize it with one's feet. Also, it takes some time to get a hang of it and initially it is quite scary. And sometimes, no matter how hard and well you drive the hammer, the staples dont go all the way in. When this happens, it takes some work to cut off the piece that is sticking up and to punch the rest of the staple all the way.
We are not totally thrilled with this but then for us it was a decent solution given our goals.

Not as good as I expectedPurchased the pucks to provide light in some of the dark corners of the kitchen counters. Just not enough illumination.
Tried to use one in a closet, won't stick to the wall, though. Goes I have to use the screw.
Would'nt buy again. Bought another brand (much more expensive)at Lowe's, were not any better.
Returned to store. Guess I'll find some use for the lights from Amazon. Read more...

Lies, Lies, Liesno doubt this is the WORST purchase i have ever made. the picture is a lie. the picture is of parachute cord (what i thought i was buying), it's not. it's the kind of rope that borders the shallow end of the pool. oh yeah, and it's canary yellow. this is false advertising. it's both reprehensible and insulting. wth? Broken on arrivalLike the title indicates, my microstream flashlight was useless right out of the package. To start, the battery was inserted backward (negative end first, contrary to both the battery replacement instructions written in the packaging and wrong according to the image on the interior of the battery tube). I know that it's common to do this to prevent battery drain in the event of accidental activation, but it's an odd choice for packaging that's supposed to allow a customer to *test* the light before purchasing.
After reversing the battery to the correct position, the light simply won't turn on. I clicked quite a few times, with no results. Interestingly, as I unscrewed the cap, the light briefly flared, only to die again.
I changed the battery, thinking the first might have died somehow, but this didn't improve the results. It's simply garbage. For something with an MSRP of $27, I expect more than a momentary flicker of light as I try to make the thing work.
There's no indication at all that it was damaged during shipping. The shipment packaging was secure, with no scuffs. The product packaging was likewise fine. Shaking the light produces no sound of loose parts. It's simply dead on arrival. Read more...
