GREAT QUALITY! GREAT SIZE! GREAT PRODUCT!The brush is MUCH better quality than I had expected, what a pleasant surprise! You really can't beat the price for a brush this nice. I have purchased brushes in this price range before and they always ended up being just as cheap as they looked! The bristles would flatten after 1-2 uses, they would slip from your hand, your hand would cramp up because they were awkwardly small, etc. This brush looks as though it will definitely last for years! It is larger than I thought it would be which is great! You can comfortably grip it in your palm and apply the necessary scrubbing pressure without ever having your hand cramp up at all. It is a very solid product too. Just by the feel of it you can tell it will be extremely durable over the years and through many many uses. The bristles are quite coarse so it really will only be great for scrubbing harder vegetables, but, since the the most commonly cleaned vegetables are the tough skinned hard varieties that are grown in the ground you will be able to use it for a huge variety. The no-slip grip handle is wonderful! I can use this while my hand (and brush) are completely submersed in water and it doesn't slip a bit, even with vigorous scrubbing. All in all, WONDERFUL PURCHASE! I would very highly recommend this product to anyone in the market for a vegetable scrub brush!

Scrubbing fungi...go figure.A device for scrubbing mushrooms...hmmm. I admit that when I saw this at the local cooking stuff store that I not only smirked, but actually have a little laugh. I thought "good grief, a gadget for everything...now even cleaning your mushrooms...what next, a device to scrub potatoes with..no, wait, I have one of those." Well, as this thing did not cost all that much and due to the fact that I eat a lot of mushrooms and use them in my cooking, I went ahead and bought it on a lark.
Now I absolutely hate canned mushrooms and only use fresh, fresh, fresh. I of course buy them at the local store but I also hunt them in the wild and actually have nerve enough to eat what I find. (Note: I had some very good training growing up, own quite a number of books on the subject, attend seminars and am very, very careful. I did not just fall off the turnip wagon when it comes to gathering these lovelies. I digress...sorry.....
Anyway, I brought it home, threw it in a drawer and forgot about if for over a week. Long story short, it was not long until I bought several pounds of small buttons to serve as appetizers (I fear I cannot share with you my ultra secret stuffing for these as I would have to dispose of you if I revealed that information. Anyway, I actually used this little brush to clean the little things with and it worked like a chart. The brush is soft enough that it does not damage the mushroom; it is easy to clean with hot water and made a tiresome chore so much easier.
This whole thing has certainly been a lesson for me and I will think twice before snickering at something I know nothing about in the future.
I hardly recommend this little brush. Hey, it is inexpensive and if you find you do not like it...no big deal. You can always rewrap it and pawn it off as a gag gift at the office party next year.
