Works just like it should

We bought this to replace the standard round-dial analog thermometer. My in-laws own this digital fork thermometer and they love it. I've used it myself to my satisfaction. It worked perfectly for the Thanksgiving turkey breasts, and I'm sure it will work as well for our Christmas pork roast. It is easy to read and easy to use.

What a grill tool!

So many grill tools are stamped steel, low-grade stainless with loose fitting wood handles, but not these. These forged tools have a high level of polish and the fit on the wood inlays is perfect. They feel nice in the hands and look great hanging under my grill! The fork is a dangerous looking tool, it's so thick and sharp, but even if I never use it I had to have a full set under my grill.

Stab things!

This is one solid piece of metal, with no rivets, screws, or weld marks to collect food and debris. There is a black rubber insert under the handle to make it easier to grip. The hook on the end is the perfect length to flip down and hold the grip off the surface it is resting on.

The only downside is that barbecue forks are really not very useful, despite being included in almost every tool collection. Stabbing the meat while it is on the hot grill is a surefire way of releasing all of the moisture from the food.

I do have one of these, but I mainly use it to move my foil smoking packets off the charcoal. It works well for that.
