No instruction manualI may be slow, but this is my first projector and I would appreciate an instruction manual. The buttons on the top of the machine don't seem to do anything. You need the remote to turn it on and off, etc. Otherwise, the picture quality is great, the noise is minimal when projecting (noisier when doing the final cool-down, but who cares?) and it came with both a power and a connection cord of respectable lengths. Now, if I just knew how to work all of the bells and whistles!

Decent, but documentation and software need workIf you want to use the device to carry around media, be sure to get a microSD card because the onboard memory is less than 100 megabytes; up to 16GB supposedly is supported - I used an old 1GB card from a phone I had and it worked fine (a 16GB is on order). Using the device to carry the photos, movies, and presentations was useful; you do end up driving the device directly, and because of its small size, you'll also want the remote as you get tired of pressing the small buttons and rocking the device picture, so you'd need to order that too as noted in another review.
The MediaConverter 3.0 software is not intuitive, buggy, and the help data almost non-existent; I think this is only needed for converting videos however - for photos just using the PC's external drive interface seems to work fine. The MediaConverter created two photos that the device couldn't read, for example, but dragging them separately worked just fine; converting a Powerpoint presentation also failed the first time, but worked the second (it also told me I needed Office Powerpoint 2007 which I already had). The MediaConverter says to just "drag and drop" files, but that never worked, I always had to use one of the other two direct selection methods.
It is amazing how poor the documentation is for the software, as well as the device; I was able to figure everything out, but if you're not as used to computery interfaces your mileage may vary. If you just drive the device from a laptop, that would not be an issue though. The small size is everything for this device; you do sacrifice brightness and resolution compared to the bigger models but this guy does a credible display job, and the size makes it something you don't need to think twice about throwing in your travel bag.

Sure, I've got a bias, but...Okay... I have a bias, and I'll admit it. I'm an engineer by trade, and I've worked on the design of Picoprojectors for 3M. So I know what goes into them all the way down at the silicon level. There are several approaches to getting pixels up on a screen using as little power as possible (mostly having to do with how you turn the LED's in the "lamphouse" on and off more quickly than the eye/brain can notice that they're flashing). There are also ways in which you can turn them on sequentially in red, green, and blue to illuminate what's actually a monochrome display module -- and then let the brain reassemble the three mono-colored images into the full color picture you think you see.
What differentiates this projector from a number of others on the market was the amount of time 3M put into asking a fundamental question a lot of other people didn't: "How is the human eye and brain combination -- which is a part of the system -- stimulated most effectively by light so that the perceived quality of the overall picture is highest?"
I should note that I'm not a 3M employee, I'm part of an engineering consulting business that does work with 3M. (A great company to have as a client, BTW...) But I've done video systems designs for dozens of people over the years. And 3M had their act together on this project to a greater degree than just about anybody I can think of.

This projector is a marvel of technology.It is difficult for me to speak in English.

This projector has a very beautiful quality of image
On the three pictures,the screen measures 130CM = 52 pouces, but it's the same things with 60 pouces.
But with the connection HDMI, the quality of the image is excellent.
The blacks are very black, and the whites are whiter than white.
