Love it!!!I've only had the squeezebox for a couple of days but so far I love it. Love the ability to choose content while not in front of my computer and also being able to do more complex setup via the web interface. Easy setup, I can listen to my iTunes collection, Pandora, Slacker, internet radio, XM radio (just install a plugin), podcasts, great flexibility in alarms, have facebook pictures or feed scrolling on the screen, looks great. Better than I expected, love this little thing.

great little itemI get fair to lousy radio reception where I currently live. With this wifi adaptor I get great sound - and I don't even use a router. Setting up my favorites list was a bit of a nuisance, and navigation is a clumsy process, but it's great to be able to listen to stations from places where I used to live. And now I can listen to stations from places I've never even visited.

Sirius SCC1 Tuner is the way to go!After years of using a portable universal tuner through either the FM tuner or aux. jack on my stereo, I finally decided it was time to upgrade my stereo head unit so I could integrate all my "attachments". I've been using the Sirius SCC1 with my Alpine CDA-9886 for about 5 months now, and I've been extremely pleased with it. The Sirius SCC1 works GREAT with the head unit and causes no issues with the other peripherals attached to it (I've also got the bluetooth module (KCA 200BT) and iPod cable). The sound quality is excellent--far better than it was using the portable unit through the auxillary input. One of the features I appreciated most about my portable unit was the ability to mark favorite songs or bands and be notified when they're being broadcast on any channel. This unit maintains that ability, although I do miss the option of having the notification beep through the speakers; instead the notification is visual on the face of the head unit, so if you're not looking at the head unit, you can easily miss it. (I haven't read through all the instructions though, so this isn't to say that the beep option doesn't exist).
Don't forget that with this unit, you will need the Sirius adaptor that is specific to your head unit. This is the TUNER itself, NOT the adaptor. YOU MUST HAVE BOTH in order for it to work (mine is paired with the KCA-SC100). All in all I've found the SCC1 to be a great value. Installation was SUPER easy for me (I installed it myself in about 20 minutes), the sound quality is great, and the convenience and cleanness of keeping everything integrated through the head unit makes it a great product.

Horrible radio even worse customer service!Have had XM service for over 3 years now. Recently had to get a new radio because I was told my old one may interfere with other radio signals. So, they talked me into getting the Onyx. I was very specific when I asked if it did what my other radio did, including play in my home portable unit. I was assured it did. Well, it absolutely does not. Nor does it have the same features as my old one. On my old one I could pause and rewind, this one I can't. And it does not fit either my old car kit or my home kit, rendering the home kit useless and I had to reinstall a new car kit to use it. In fact, with the Onyx I have had nothing but problems with it since getting it. It turns off when it feels like, goes into demo mode (and then you can't turn it off), the display reads either check antenna or check power supply, neither of which are at issue (have had it checked and installed profressionally). I called to get it replaced. Was told I would be put through warranty and they would handle it. Well, the call was dropped and I tried calling back (since no one bothered calling me) and this time I got someone who could not speak or even understand English very well so the call was never completed - again. To get to the end result, it is now over 3 weeks later, 5 phone calls (all done by me - they never call back!), 4 emails and a request for a supervisor and it is still not resolved! HORRENDOUS customer service, TERRIBLE CHEAP product and not worth the money or trouble.

Easy to install, good sound, problems with other stations, bright light.I've been using this with my GM "monsoon sound" radio and 30gb zune for about 5 months now. Originally, I had set this up with just a headphone jack coming out of the dash, but this severely limits reception of AM stations (700 WLW was fine, but 550 KRC was impossible to pick up in some garages or close to power lines). Other FM stations are fine, so this is more indicative of the build quality and interference than problems with actual modulator performance. Indeed, some other modulators completely barge into all other stations FM or AM so this isn't really a problem.
So I glued the little switch and jack dealie into the car to turn the modulator on and off, which is where I run into the first real problem with this device: the backlit switch is a SEARINGLY BRIGHT green which is very distracting at night (I rarely drive during the day, unfortunately). Even this problem is easily corrected with a piece of black tape. If you take some care while cutting the tape, you can not cover the edges of the rocker so it will still work as an indicator.
Overall this device is very easy to install and use, you may need to pick up an antenna jack adapter. Other than that, this kit includes everything you need for a quick and easy install. Connect it to your radio's power so you will not kill your battery, and if you don't know which end of the soldering iron to use, have a professional put it in.
Also, some other people have been complaining of distortion, and the solution is simple: turn your music player device's volume down, and your radio's volume up. If you complain that your radio will not go loud enough, then you are probably better off getting a cheap (<$200) aftermarket radio that has an auxillary input on the front panel.

inspired by writing this review, I peeled off the black tape and looked at the light again. I wouldn't say it is obnoxiously bright during the day, although certainly distracting at night. A better solution than tape would be to solder in a current-limiting resistor (an easy fix, but I don't want to disassemble my dashboard again)
