My USB doesn't work with my iphoneI think the radio is great and everything works fine, the sound is great. However, I had two problems, first you better understand that is bluetooth ready, meaning, it is not included!! you have to buy a bluetooth adapter. Second, my iphone doesn't work with the usb adapter and that was the MAIN reason I bought the damn radio. I am not sure if I have to do a software update or what but that is very, very annoying. If anyone knows how to fix that problem please let me know. Thanks.

Simple to install. Works great.I am not the most mechanically-inclined indivdual on the planet, so the idea of installing an external antenna on the roof of my car and running a wire through the trunk to the dash was a little intimidating. However, the installation kit has everything you need to get the job done and its instructions were easy to follow. It only took me 15 minutes to get everything properly connected. I was very pleased with the end result. The sound quality from the PowerConnect FM transmitter was better than expected. It's so nice to have Live XM programming in my vehicle with absolutely no interruptions. In fact, I still had a reliable signal even when going under a large freeway overpass.
There is one gripe I have with this device, however. It requires that you run power to the dock at all times, even if your XMp3i is already fully charged. I tried running it without the power adapter connected and the XMp3i would not work very consistently. You'll probably want to invest in a 12-volt socket splitter if you run multiple devices (cell phone charger, GPS, etc.) on a frequent basis. Without a constant power source to the dock, you'll find it challenging to keep the XM receiver working. This is a minor complaint, but I don't understand why a fully-charged unit is not allowed to run off its own battery power.
The easy installation and included remote control make this kit well worth the price. Having the ability to take an XMp3i on the road now adds even more value to my Sirius/XM subscription.

Where are the free map "updates"?The unit is great, but a big reason I chose this one over other models was that it came with "free updates". It appears that on the website, firmware is an "update" but maps are an "upgrade".

My Wife Loves this...I installed this myself (!) in my wife's 98 Rav 4; first installation for me, but with the Internet, you can do anything. The install was a snap, the radio works great, even plays our iPod using just a mini-plug cable. I thought it sounded pretty good, but my wife says it is much, much better than her factory radio that I replaced. My complaints are really minor: 1: You can't change the color of the display, and 2: If a station is weak you can change to monaural, but it changes all the stations to mono. I really recommend this radio.

Very good HU at lower pirce point.I bought this to replace the stock cassette radio that came with my 2000 Ford F-150. I knew that a double din unit was oversized for my app, but I did some cutting inside dash with dremmel and mini hack saw and got it to fit. Soldered new connector(amazon also) wires to hu leads and plugged into truck harness and fired it up. As others have reviewed, the graphics are lame (no screensaver option) but the functionality of unit is good. I use the bluetooth for hands-free cellphone and I'm very happy with it. Music sounds better than stock unit to me. For me, it has plenty of power with EQ pre-sets of classic, pop, rock or off, plus loudness and dbs boost buttons (which I use). I'm able to taylor EQ of various music genres to my liking. Touch screen works well but I find myself using volume buttons to control unit rather than with touchscreen. Need to switch screen menu to make EQ adjustments. I've added a Pyle back-up camera at install which I recommend for those that trailer stuff. CD player and SD reader work good (again graphics kinda lame). I have not watched any videos yet.
I was looking for an inexpensive hu that did it all with bluetooth, back-up camera compat. SD/USB/CD/DVD to replace my stock unit. I found it with this Boss BC9560B hu and would highly recommend this unit at a price point of $200-$250.
