RCA, you should be ashamed!This is the worst product I ever bought anywhere. First, the RG59U (75 ohm) cable connection is obsolete so it doesn't fit a standard RG6 device. Radio Shack doesn't have any adapters either; they "did years ago" the manager said. When I called RCA they said, "the cable does fit my TV" but offered no further advise other than to go back to Radio Shack. I got the impression the RCA representative was pretending to have no idea what I was talking about. When I finally got an adapter off an antiquated TV from a repair shop, I was amazed to learn the antenna doesn't work any better than a coat hanger. It does look better though. No wonder the price on a RCA ANT 1500 is so low; it doesn't work.
Okay antennaThe stand was plastic instead of metal. Reception quality was okay. Not the best.
Easy!just plug it in and go! now i get 5 local channels on the Lower East Side of manhattan. works better laying flat but i plan on hanging it on the wall where it will blend in easily. i would recommend this product as far as price, ease of use and the fact that i can now get a few free channels.
FantasticPurchased this antenna looking for a decent reception for my new LCD TV and was pleasantly surprised at how the signal was strong even when people walked in front/around the unit. Low profile design stays out of the way while doing its job. Great antenna for the price. Worth every penny.
Great little antennaI bought this for a tv in the spare bedroom that doesn't have cable hook up. The room has large trees on both sides and still we get a perfect reception with this. It picks up all the local channels in perfect HD and a few bonus channels too. So happy this was recommended to my by Amazon or I never would have known it was out there. It's size is perfect also. I didn't want big rabbit ears an this fits perfectly behind the jewelry box and you can't even tell it's there so the dresser still has a sleek look to it.
