I love it!This water dispenser fits perfectly in my refrigerator. The water tastes great, and I'm happy that I'm not going through as many plastic bottles as before. It's better for the environment and more cost effective for me!
Great water dispenserI bought this on the recommendation of a friend and I am very happy I did. Capacity is good, the spigot is easy to use and placed low enough so most of the water can be drained, and you can access the filtered water even while the top reservoir still has water in it. My one complaint is that the filters are pricier than Brita's.
This thing is awesomeI ordered this dispenser over the Brita one because Pur does a better job in filtering water. I used to hate drinking my tap water in Chicago because it tasted like chlorine really bad. With this dispenser, I can't even taste anything. It's like drinking bottled water. Speaking of bottled water, this thing is also environmentally friendly because at home you fill a glass and when you go out, you take a water bottle. I fill my Klean Kanteen and take my water with me wherever I go. I really love this thing and recommend it to anyone looking for a great alternative to bottled water and smaller pitchers.
Defective materialAfter reading the reviews I bought this for my daughter heading off to college. Got the first one home, unboxed filter with intent to clean and prep for her first use. I set the filter on the counter and heard a crack. Looked at the base and saw the left side cracked. Frustrated boxed up took back to the store and exchanged it. Brought the next one home, cleaned it and soaked filter. Boxed it up and took to daughters apartment. Started to fill with water when I noticed the blue inner resevoir had 2" crack around the lip.
After a little more research I have read many complaints of the same filter cracking without reason. I exchagned for a Brita at Target. When asked the customer service rep told me they never see the Brita returned but has seen the Pur returned a number of times. I should have done more homework before buying and saved multiple trips to the store.
Great Water FilterThis is a great PUR Filter System. It holds lots of water so no need to refill constantly and it seems to be made really well. I am enjoying this!
